Cancellation and Refund Policy

This policy governs cancellations and refunds for services engaged through Taxsphere. Please read this carefully before initiating payment for any service.

1. Cancellation Before Service Work Begins

If you wish to cancel an engaged service before any document verification, reconciliation, computation, drafting, filing or professional review has commenced, you may request a cancellation by writing to support@taxsphere.ai.

Cancellations submitted before service work begins will be eligible for a full refund of the service fee paid, subject to any payment processing charges.

2. Cancellation After Service Work Has Commenced

Once any of the following activities have been initiated, the service is considered to have commenced:

  • Document verification or validation
  • GST reconciliation or data processing
  • Tax computation drafting or financial analysis
  • Drafting of certificates, reports or incorporation documents
  • Filing on any government portal
  • Professional (CA/CS/senior staff) review or sign-off

In such cases, fees may be partially or fully non-refundable depending on the extent of work completed at the time of cancellation request. The refund amount, if any, will be determined by Taxsphere based on the stage of service completion and communicated to the client within five working days of the cancellation request.

3. Non-Refundable Charges

The following are non-refundable under all circumstances:

  • Government fees, portal charges and statutory filing fees
  • Stamp duty, notarization charges or court fee payments made on behalf of the client
  • Penalties or interest levied by government authorities
  • Third-party charges including DSC procurement, legal registration fees
  • Payment processing and gateway charges

4. Refund Request Process

To request a refund, please:

  1. Write to support@taxsphere.ai with your name, service engaged, payment reference number and reason for cancellation.
  2. Our team will review the request and respond within 3 working days with the refund eligibility and amount.
  3. Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 working days of approval.

5. Refund Method

Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method where technically possible. In cases where the original payment method is unavailable, we may process the refund via bank transfer (NEFT/RTGS) to a verified bank account.

6. Service Delivery Failure

If Taxsphere is unable to deliver a service due to reasons entirely within our control and not related to client non-cooperation, incomplete documentation or government portal issues, a full refund of the service fee will be issued.

7. Disputes

In case of any dispute regarding cancellation or refund, please contact us at support@taxsphere.ai. We aim to resolve all disputes fairly and within 10 working days of receiving the complaint.
